Allied Solutions, a leading financial services company based in Carmel, Indiana, today announced charitable gifts to be distributed to pediatric hospitals and community-based organizations that provide direct delivery of hunger-relief programs to individuals and families in need.
"At this time of year, we turn our thoughts to those in need and the true spirit of the holidays. We care about our neighbors and want to make sure families experiencing hardship have their needs met so they can focus on spending time together this holiday season,” said Allied Solutions CEO Pete Hilger. “With this in mind, we chose to partner with organizations whose mission is to meet the fundamental needs of families in our surrounding communities.”
The company’s funding of hunger-relief programs builds on its 2020 support for food banks and food-rescue programs, addressing the issue of food insecurity in our communities. Each selected organization provides services in one of five geographic centers where the company’s primary offices are located. Receiving organizations are:
- Active Generations’ Meals on Wheels program (South Dakota)
- Feeding South Dakota’s Mobile Food Pantry (South Dakota)
- Food Bank of Northern Indiana’s Mobile Food Pantry Program (Northern Indiana)
- Gleaners Food Bank’s Mobile Pantries program (Central Indiana)
- Good Samaritan Network of Hamilton County (Central Indiana)
- Keystone Services’ Meals on Wheels and Foodmobile programs (Minnesota)
- Meals on Wheels Collin County (Texas)
- Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County (Central Indiana)
- North Texas Food Bank’s Mobile Pantry (Texas)
- Real Services’ Meals on Wheels program (Northern Indiana)
Allied Solutions has made additional gifts in support of medical research and compassionate care for children, a cause of great significance to the company’s leaders and stakeholders. Donations are being made to Children’s Miracle Network and Riley Children’s Foundation to support their work to save and improve the lives of our nation’s children.
As part of the company’s gift to Riley, Allied will become a sponsor of the Red Wagon program for the nationally ranked children’s hospital in Central Indiana, where Allied’s headquarters are located. Riley’s red wagons are widely known as the beloved mode of in-house transportation for patients while staying at Riley Hospital for Children.
