Allied Solutions names Ashima Kapur, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, senior vice president, chief people officer. Kapur will serve as the first chief people officer in the company’s history. The title reflects Allied Solutions’ commitment to fostering a culture-driven workplace that encourages its people to thrive. She has been with Allied Solutions for nearly 12 years and most recently held the title of senior vice president, human resources (HR) and chief diversity officer.
“Ashima has transformed the HR function from transactional to strategic elevating the total value proposition we offer our people,” said Pete Hilger, CEO, Allied Solutions. “Allied Solutions’ people growth is also attributable to Ashima’s intentional initiatives by which we recruit, onboard and retain employees.”
Kapur leads all HR functions, including total rewards, HR business partners talent development, talent acquisition and HR services and technology, and corporate communications and community engagement. She is also responsible for growing the company’s culture, diversity and inclusion efforts, and employer brand.

Kapur has more than 25 years of experience in HR management primarily in the insurance, financial services and tech industries. Prior to joining Allied Solutions, she served as an assistant vice president of HR at OneAmerica.
Kapur earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in industrial psychology and organizational behavior from Delhi University. She is a Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Certified Professional and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Relations (SPHR) by the HR Certification Institute.
Kapur serves on the board of directors of the American Red Cross, Indiana Region.
